Sit, Stay, Wag was founded by Liz Poe, a lifelong dog lover with extensive experience in pet care. After working at PetSmart’s doggy day camp and PetHotel during college, Liz transitioned into a career in real estate law. When her husband received orders to Sicily, she began offering pet care services to fellow military families while they explored Europe.

Now based in San Diego, Liz provides boarding and daycare services from her home, prioritizing the emotional, social, physical, and environmental well-being of dogs. She focuses on minimizing stress and ensuring that each dog feels secure and well cared for. Liz is bonded, insured, and certified in pet CPR and First Aid. She is currently enrolled in school to become a certified dog trainer and is also taking courses in animal psychology and behavior, as well as canine holistic health.
